State Track and Field and Regional Soccer Open Tomorrow / Ryan wins Gatorade Soccer Award / Rockies win 5th Straight

STATE TRACK AND FIELD - The Wyoming high school track and field season comes to a close this weekend at the state championships, the meet opens tomorrow morning in Casper events start at 11:00 with the 3200 meter finals.

REGIONAL SOCCER - The 4-A East regional soccer tournament opens tomorrow two games will be played at Big Horn high school they have the Gillette girls playing Cheyenne South at 4:00 and the boys game will have Cheyenne Central and East at 6:00.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will play their opening games at Sheridan high school game times will be at 4:00 and 6:00 the Broncs play Cheyenne South the Lady Broncs face Cheyenne East.

Lady Bronc Robbi Ryan added another award to her great high school career at Sheridan high school, yesterday Ryan was named the Wyoming Gatorade soccer player of the year she also won the Gatorade award for the last two years as the basketball player of the year.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play a double header at the Billings Halos Saturday and will come back home for two on Sunday with Rapid City Post #320.

The Sheridan Jets will play on the road this weekend they play in Billings Saturday and Gillette Sunday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat St. Louis 3-1 for their fifth straight win they play the Cardinals again tonight we will have game one live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio broadcast time will be at 5:30.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The defending state football champion Sheridan Broncs will start preparation in a few weeks for their team football camp Head coach Don Julian says the players that will make up the bronc squad this fall have already begun their off season program.

The Broncs will open the season at home in August 26th against Laramie.
