TR Championship Saturday Preview / Pokes at UNLV Saturday / Broncos at Saints Sunday

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY - The Tongue River Eagles are preparing for another shot at the 1-A football title the Eagles were the runner ups last fall losing to Upton / Sundance in the finals Saturday they play Pine Bluffs in the second game of our championship triple header at 1:00.

We hear from Eagles Head coach John Scott today first we talk about enjoying the week leading up to kick off on championship Saturday.

Along with enjoying the week game preparation becomes the focus as well as they get ready to face the Hornets.

One change for the Eagles this year is they've been through this before especially game day at War Memorial Stadium.

The Big Horn Rams will lead off championship Saturday taking on Greybull at 10:00. This year the Rams did not see Greybull during the regular season the last time they played Greybull knocked the Rams out of the playoffs last year.

The Sheridan Broncs will close out Saturday in the 4-A championship taking on Natrona county at 4:00.

All three championship games will be broadcast live Saturday Big Horn and Greybull at 10:00, Tongue River and Pine Bluffs at 1:00 and the Broncs and NC at 4:00 you can hear each game on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at UNLV Saturday afternoon you can hear the game on 14-10 KWYO broadcast time will begin with the Cowboy pregame show starting at 12:30.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos are on the road at New Orleans Sunday it's an early start with the Bronco pregame show at 9:00 kickoff is at 11:00 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals basketball teams get back into action this week the Lady Generals are 3-0 they will play Little Big Horn CC tonight at the Hoffman dome at 5:30 then travel this weekend to play in a tournament at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.

The Generals are 3-0 and will open a tournament at Central Wyoming in Riverton Friday taking on Laramie county.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys and the Cowgirls will play a home double header Friday night.

The Cowgirls play open the evening against Chadron state at 5:30 the Pokes play Western state at 8:30 coverage begins at 5:00 with the Cowgirl pregame show.
