Troopers 4-1 on Current Road Trip / Broncs Return From Team Football Camp

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers opened a four day tournament in Omaha, Nebraska last night with a 14-4 victory over Dickinson, North Dakota they will play Creighton prep today then Watertown, South Dakota tomorrow and finish Sunday against Elkhorn, Nebraska.

The Troopers are 4-1 on this current road trip and stand at 19-11 overall. Their next home date will be Tuesday when they host a double header with the Casper Oilers we will broadcast the first game live at 4:00 on KWYO.

Wednesday they will host and early afternoon double header with Columbia Basin, Washington we will have the first game live as well on KWYO starting at noon.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies open a four game series in Florida with the marlins this evening you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN broadcast time is 4:30.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team finished up their onlt team camp of the off season this week in Chadron, Nebraska Head coach Don Julian says overall they had a good week.

And he says it was the first time the coaching staff got to take a good look and their underclassmen.

Off season wright training starts next week, the team will hold a mini camp in July with preseason camp opening August 8th and the Broncs will open the regular season at home August 26th against Laramie.

SC HOOP CAMP - The Sheridan college Lady Generals will host their youth camp next week it's open to all girls K-12 and will run Monday through Thursday at the Hoffman dome from 9 to noon.
