AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers lost 10-3 last night to Cheyenne Post 6 in the state tournament in Cheyenne.

Post 6 built up a 9-1 lead through the 5th inning to pick up their second win of the tournament.

The Troopers will play an elimination game today against Casper that game will take place this afternoon at 12:30

The American Legion junior regional continues today at Thorne-rider stadium.

SHS SPEED CAMP - Sheridan high school is hosting a speed that will run this morning from 8:30 to noon.

Sheridan high school track coach Art Bauers is facilitating the camp and says speed training works for athletes in all sports and activities not just track and field.

And he says done the right way significant progress can be seen in a few weeks.

And Bauers says this type of training works well for all people no matter their age.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL - Sheridan college women's volleyball coach Jennifer Weitzel and the Lady Generals will host their youth volleyball camp next week Monday through Thursday in the Hoffman dome.

They will have two sessions daily the morning session is for players K-5th grade and the afternoon session for players in the 6th through 12th grades.
