Troopers Fall in Regional Tournament Opener / Rockies Rip LA / Bronc Football Mountain Football Retreat Starts Today

TROOPER BASEBALL - Day one of the American Legion Northwest Regional baseball tournament was rough for the Sheridan Troopers as they fell against the Billings Scarlets 16-2 they will try and stave off elimination today in a loser out game at 9:30 against a team from Bellingham, Washington.

Bellingham lost their game to Medford, Oregon 11-1 the other first round game had Kennewick, Washngton beating Kenai, Alaska 16-2.

The final match up of the day had the Cheyenne and Boise, Idaho game suspended by rain in the top of the 6th inning with Boise up 6-3, they will resume play this morning at 8:00 with the Troopers game to follow at 9:30.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team is getting close to two a days practices Head coach Don Julian says they are pleased with what the players got done duRIng the off season.

The coaches and seniors will start preparation for next week starting today.
