TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open their season at home Saturday, April 27th with a double header against Cody we will broadcast the home opener live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

One of the highlights of this year's Trooper schedule will be a trip to play in a tournament in Omaha. Nebraska.

The tournament will take place at the same time the college world series is going on an Trooper Head coach Ben Phillips says it will be a great experience for the players.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS SOCCER - Sheridan college is nearly ready to begin a new athletic era with the start of Generals and Lady Generals soccer. Sheridan college will have two teams playing in region nine this fall.

SC Athletic Director Steve Smiley says the hiring process for two new coaches is almost complete and the college should be able to name the coaches next week.

And Smiley says with the new season set to begin with practice in August and matches in September the new coaches will have a lot of work to do over the new few months.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams will compete this week at a meet in Cody tomorrow

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams open conference play today with matches against Cheyenne South.

They play Laramie Saturday the Broncs will play on the road the Lady Broncs host.

Matches today will be at 4:00 and 6:00 and tomorrow at 10 am and noon.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls lost at home against Northern Colorado last night in the first round of the WNIT 73-61. They finish their season with a record of 24-8.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys will play a second round game in the CBI basketball tournament Monday night.

The Poke's will host Western Michigan at the double "AA". You can hear the game live on KWYO AND 87.7FM ESPN radio pregame at 6:30 and the tip at 7:00.
