Troopers Play Final Regular Season Home Game Tonight / Jets Win State Tournament Opener / Rockies Fall v TB / SRD Budget Approved

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play their final home game of the season tonight against Laramie it's a single nine inning game first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 and we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO.

Tomorrow the Troops close out the regular season at Cheyenne, the American Legion state double "AA" tournament starts next week on Wednesday in Jackson.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets opened their state tournament in Casper last night they beat Laramie 10-3 Jaxon Parker went 2-3 and had four RBI the winning pitcher was Caleb Keller.

They are off today and resume play tomorrow night they play the winner of today's game between Cheyenne and Rawlins.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost against the Tampa Bay Rays last night here's Jack Corrigan with the game wrap up. You can hear tonight's game with the Braves on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

SRD - The Sheridan Recreation District board held their final budget meeting for the new fiscal year Wednesday night, the 2016-17 budget is well below last year here's Rec District Director Richard Wright.

As far as fees Wright says they have many loyal sponsors that help off set costs and also help out those kids and families who can't afford paying the higher cost of program fees.

The Rec District is now taking registration for adult flag football and little guy football they will take team and player registration Monday through Friday between 8:00 and 5:00 pm at the office in Thorne-Rider park.

SC YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team will host a one day camp for high school players next week on Thursday.
