Troopers Play Two at Home Today / Rockies Beat D-Backs / Bronc Football Preseason Starts in Three Weeks

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play at home this afternoon they host a doubleheader with the Billings Scarlets game one will start at 1:00.

Tomorrow is Trooper alumni day at Thorne-Rider stadium the annual Trooper alumni game will start at noon.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat Arizona Thursday afternoon, Jerry Schimmel has the game wrap up. You can hear tonight's game live on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM.

BRONC FOOTBALL - We continue our conversation today with Sheridan high school Senior Parker Christensen he has verbally committed to play football at the University of Wyoming in 2019, this fall Parker along with his fellow seniors take over the role as Bronc team leaders and he says the classes that have come before him have laid the ground work for the program's success and he's ready to assume that role.

Preseason workouts start in three weeks and Parker says he and his teammates are ready to get the season started.

The Broncs will host their annual Little Bronc football camp next week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry says this week starts a big run for Sheridan high school over the next few weeks starting with rodeo week and the booster club golf tournament Sunday.

And Mowry says time is starting grow short as it's not long before the three time defending state champs will be back on the field.
