Troopers Split Two With Gillette / Trooper Youth Camp Opens Today / Rockies win at SF / Wyoming High Schools Face the Music

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers split two games with Gillette Tuesday night the Troops took game one 11-5 and Gillette won the second game 13-5 the Troopers are now 33-20 overall and are off until Saturday when they host a double header at 1:00 with Laurel, Montana.

The Troopers open their youth baseball camp today the camp runs through Friday from 9:00 to 1:00 each day at Thorne-Rider stadium the camp will culminate with a Wiffleball tournament.

WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS - We continue our conversation today with Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian.

Julian says changes are coming for high school sports in Wyoming in class 4-A it will start in 2017 with the addition of Thunder Basin high school in Gillette.

With the addition of the new school in Gillette Julian says they have to look at realigning the 4-A league.

And finally today he says changes are coming and the state's schools need to get serious about finding solutions to these financial issues.

SC YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team will host a one day high school developmental camp at end of the month.
