Troops Drop two in Laurel / WYO Rodeo Opens / Little Bronc Football Camp Starts Monday

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped both ends of a doubleheader in Laurel, Montana Monday night the Dodgers took game one 5-3 and game two 14-7.

The Troopers will play at home Friday afternoon they host two with the Billings Scarlets game one will start at 1:00.

Saturday is Trooper alumni day at Thorne-Rider stadium the annual Trooper alumni game will start at noon.

2018 WYO RODEO - Sheridan WYO rodeo slack timed events begin in the fairgrounds arena at 7:00 am today will culminate with the annual Boot Kickoff set to take place in Whitney Commons activities will start at 4:00.

Slack continues Wednesday morning at 9:00, the WYO carnival will open for the week in the evening and the first performance of the WYO starts at 7:00.

Parade Friday begins with the traditional Boy Scouts pancake breakfast at 6:00 am followed by the Spurs and Sneakers fun run the Bed Races and ends with the WYO rodeo parade at 10:00.

SHS BOOSTER GOLF - The Sheridan high school booster club golf tournament is Sunday at the Powder Horn. It's a four person team scramble with a shotgun start at 1:00 dinner follows the tournament get your teams together and contact the Powder Horn to register.

KENDRICK CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP - Kendrick golf course will host the annual club championship tournament at the end of the month. the club championship will be held July 28th and 29th tee times will be between 8 and 10 am.

The entry fee is 50 dollars and they will also have a junior division for 9 to 13 year olds.

YOUTH FOOTBALL / BASKETBALL CAMPS - Next week is sports camp week in Sheridan the Sheridan Broncs will host their annual Little Bronc football camp next week and Sheridan college women's basketball coach Ryan Davis will host a high school girls Elite camp.

The Little Bronc football camp will go Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the little broncs will go each evening from 5 to 6 pm with the high school team going from 6 to 8 pm they will take walk up registration before the camp opens Monday.

The Elite girls basketball camp will run two days next week Monday and Tuesday and Ryan Davis says this is a great opportunity for those high school players that want to play in college to find out more about playing at that next level more information can be found on the website
