Troops win Again / Rockies Take Down the D-Backs / BMNC Hosting Trail Clean up Days

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have won two in a row after beating the 406 Flyers from Billings Wednesday night 6-4.

The Troops are off for the rest of the week for a nice break they host their youth baseball camp and Wiffle ball tournament Monday and Tuesday from 9-1 each day at Thorne-Rider stadium.

The camp is open to 8-14 year olds and costs 75 dollar per camper and 50 dollars for families with multiple kids participating they will take walk up registration Monday morning before the camp opens at 9 o'clock

Troopers Head coach Ben Phillips says a few days off will help the players recover a bit from this past stretch of games and it feels great to look at the schedule and see all those home dates.

The Troops will play a home double header with Riverton Tuesday night then end the month at a four day tournament in Gillette starting on the 27th then they play eight of their next twelve at home in July.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies won at Arizona again Wednesday night, Jack Corrigan has the wrap up. You can hear it live on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM.

BMNC - The Black Mountain Nordic Club will host a trail work day Saturday they are doing this in partnership with the Forest Service.

They will be going to the Cutler trails to clear brush they will meet at 9 am Saturday at the Forest Service office on Eastridge road and car pool up all volunteers are asked to bring work gloves and lunch. The Forest Service also provides helmet and eye protection.

The club is also looking for more volunteers for another trail clean up day on the 29th.
