BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams took three out of four games over the weekend with the Lady Broncs splitting two and the Broncs got a sweep.

The Lady Broncs lost their first game of the season at Billings Senior Friday night but came back for a 40-30 over Powell Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Broncs looked sluggish all weekend and with the loss of Senior Taylor Townsend to a knee injury it put the team in a tough spot, here's Head coach Jessica Pickett.

And she says moving forward the team has now faced some adversity and they have to pull together.

And she says they will use the Christmas break to rest up and come back refreshed to begin 2015.

The Broncs won two and both games went down to the final minute, they beat Billings Senior at home 63-56 Friday and went on the road a beat a very good Powell team 59-56.

Both teams will be back in action January 8th when they open a three day tournament in Cheyenne.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers finished up 2014 Saturday with a 4th place finish in their bracket at the Worland dual tournament.

The Broncs have a quick turn around they will be back on the mat January 2nd hosting duals with Riverton, Star Valley and Cheyenne East and the Border War duals with Billings Senior, West and Skyview January 3rd.

FOOTHILLS CLASSIC HOOPS - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams hosted the Foothills classic tournament over the weekend the Lady Rams and Lady Eagles swept all six of their games with victories over Wind River, Big Piney and Wyoming Indian.

The Rams went 1-2 on the weekend but did pick up a non tournament win over Greybull, their other win as against Big Piney, the Eagles dropped all three games.

HAWKS HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks Hockey team ran their record to 4-2-1 overall sweeping two road games at Cody, they won the first game Saturday 10-1 and shut Cody out Sunday 7-0.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys play tomorrow night at Montana state you can hear it live on KWYO starting with Cowboy pregame at 6:30 and the tip at 7:00. They are off until New Year's eve when they open MWC play at home against UNLV.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls are off until New Years eve when they open conference play at UNLV.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play tonight at Cincinnati pregame starts at 4:05 with kick off at 6:35 on KWYO.
