Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

WYO / MT ALL-STAR BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals Head coach Cody Ball will be on the sidelines coaching for the first time as a Head coach this weekend as he takes the Wyoming high school all-stars into the annual Wyoming / Montana all star basketball series.

Ball says he's been looking forward to putting the team together and get them out on the court.

And this year's team has the talent to do well this weekend.

And with just a couple of day to prepare Ball says they have to tap into the state pride and competitive nature of the players to have them ready.

The 2019 series will be played Friday night in Billings at MSU-B the series shifts to the Hoffman Dome Saturday night. Game times are 5:30 and 7:30 each night we will broadcast all four games live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan troopers will play at Riverton Thursday then to Billings to take on the Scarlets Saturday then down to Casper Monday before they leave to play in a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska during the college world series.

In all it will be 14 straight on the road before returning to Thorne-Rider stadium for back to back doubleheaders June 18th and 19th.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets play two in Rapid City this evening then head to a four day tournament in Billings starting Wednesday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies swept their home series from from Toronto winning Sunday afternoon, Jack Corrigan has the game wrap up.
