Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs beat Natrona county 34-7 to get their record to 3-0 they were sharp building up a 24-7 halftime lead and shut NC out in the second half, Head coach Jeff Mowry said the players did a nice job of playing tough after their road game at Cheyenne Central.

Senior Quarterback Jacob Boint was in command of the offense and he did a great job of getting the Broncs rolling.

They are 3-0 but they have a tough one coming Friday when they play at unbeaten Thunder Basin in Gillette.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams whipped Greybull 55-0 moving the defending state champs to 2-0.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles dropped their road game at Lusk , the tTgers came up big in a 54-13 win.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - The NSI wolves lost at home to Lingle / Fort Laramie 74-12 in six man action.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Idaho in an ugly effort but they pulled out a 21-16 win to go to 3-0 on the season, here's Head coach Craig Bohl. They play at Tulsa Saturday.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos lost on the final play to the Chicago Bears 16-14 the Broncos are 0-2 they play at Green Bay Sunday.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners ran at an invitational in Bozeman, Montana both teams had a pretty good day against some of the best teams they will see all season both teams finished 3rd. They host the Michelle Ludwig Invitational Saturday.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams split with Powell the Lady Broncs won, both teams came up with nice dual wins on the road at Campbell county and Thunder Basin Saturday.

GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers played their final regular season tournament the Lady Broncs were 3rd in Casper led by Samantha Spielman she tied for 1st place the Broncs were 6th Brayden James finished tied for 6th.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers went 3-2 in five duals win Cheyenne.

SC SOCCER - The Sheridan college soccer teams dropped games at Laramie county Friday in Cheyenne both won at Western Wyoming in Rock Springs Saturday.

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team opened their regular season with two blow out wins in Butte, Montana winning 8-0 and 9-2 over the weekend.
