Weekend Local sports wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs blew out Rock Springs 52-19 Friday night the Broncs and Natrona county are both 5-0 at the top of the 4-A standings.

This week is "Gillette Week" for the Broncs, Head coach Don Julian says their is a lot riding on Friday night's game.

The Broncs and Camels got at it in Sheridan Friday night kickoff will be at 7:00.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - Tongue River Eagles lost at home against Niobrara county, Ron Richter has the wrap up.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams had no trouble winning at Wright Friday 54-21 to go to 4-0, the Rams have their homecoming game Friday night against Thermopolis the game will kickoff at 7:00 and will be the first night game at Big Horn under their new light's Head coach Michael McGuire.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost 56-14 at Michigan State Saturday. The Pokes are idle this week and will be back in action October 11th at Hawaii.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team went 2-3 at the Casper invitational the Big Horn Lady Rams were 1-4.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners competed at the Casper invitational both teams finished 4th in the team standings.

REGIONAL TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams both finished 4th at the north conference tournament Julia Fenn took the girls number one singles title and Turner Martini took the boys number two singles title.

The 2014 tennis season ends this week at the state tennis championships in Gillette, play begins Thursday.

STATE GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers closed out their season in Laramie at the 4-A state championships the Broncs finished 4th, Jack Mavrakis was the Broncs top individual in 6th place, the Lady Broncs were 5th Kayla Allen finished 9th overall.

The Big Horn and Tongue River golfers were at their state tournament in Worland. The Rams were 4th and the Eagles were 8th. In the girls team race Big Horn was 3rd and Tongue River 6th.
