Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne South 52-7 with big plays all night Aaron Sessions returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, Kyle Custis returned two punts for touchdowns and defensive lineman Connor Jorgenson had a fumble return for a touchdown in the rout.

Head coach Don Julian says they knew going into the game they would be a big favorite.

The Broncs will go on the road for the next two games starting with a game at Campbell county Friday night, Campbell county has seen a lot of struggles this season and are 0-6 and Julian says this week will be much like last week.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams blew out the Wright Panthers 45-13 they play at Upton / Sundance Friday.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles lost at the Sheridan JV's Saturday 46-27 the Eagles are at home Friday against Southeast we will broadcast the game live on Sports Talk 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys whipped Texas state 45-10 Saturday they get back into MWC play this week with a road game at Utah State.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos beat the Oakland Raiders 16-10 Sunday the Broncos are off this week and resume their schedule against the New York Giants Sunday night October 15th.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team went
3-1 during the border war matches Saturday posting victories over Billings West, Billings Skyview and Bozeman, Montana their only loss coming against Billings Senior, the powerhouse Billings Senior girls were the only team to go unbeaten on the weekend.

The Lady Broncs get back into conference play this week with matches at Laramie and Cheyenne South.

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams ran at an invitational in Thornton, Colorado both teams finished very well in the top ten the Lady Broncs were 7th the Broncs were 8th in the elite field.

The Lady Bronc top finishers were McKinley Christopherson and Josie Fettig they finished 37th and 38th for the Broncs Brian Gonda led the way in 21st place. This week they run at an invitational in Miles City, Montana Saturday
