Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams split games at Cheyenne East with the Broncs winning by 12 then at Cheyenne Central Saturday the Lady Broncs continued their offensive struggles and the Broncs lost late.

The Broncs led most of the game but Central put together a late charge and beat the Broncs 62-60.

Lady Broncs Head coach Larry Ligocki says they just have to put those losses behind them because they have another tough week of action coming.

Thursday night they host Campbell county and Saturday night they play at Thunder Basin high

As for the Broncs Head coach Jeff Martini says they let one get away Saturday.

And this week with Campbell county and Thunder Basin they get right back into tough conference play

Game times Thursday night at Sheridan high school against Campbell county are at 5:30 and 7:00 we will have them both for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams split with Wright to open the weekend with the girls losing at home, Saturday they went to Upton and both picked up nice road wins.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles swept road games at Moorcroft Friday and split with Sundance at home Saturday with the Eagles winning.

A/C BASKETBALL - The Arvada / Clearmont teams split at Kaycee Friday the Lady Panthers were the winners and on Saturday both teams picked up victories against Ten Sleep.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals beat Casper college 66-62 both teams will play at Northwest college in Powell Wednesday night.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys won at San Jose state 90-86 the Pokes play at Colorado state Wednesday night on KWYO and 106.9 FM broadcast time is at 6:30.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls beat San Jose state they play at home against CSU Wednesday

SWIMMING - The Sheridan Bronc swimmers picked up dual wins against Worland and Cody Friday they went to the Gillette invitational Saturday and finished in 8th place.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers competed at the "Ron Thon" invitational in Riverton they finished 8th overall, top finishers included second place finishes from Quinn Heyneman and Wesley Ndago, Reese Osborn was 3rd and Trevon Colvolo was 5th.
