Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

WYO RODEO - The 2018 Sheridan WYO Rodeo is in the books final results and payout can be seen below.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers were swept at home by the Laramie Rangers Sunday night by scores of 7-1 and 1-0.

Head coach Ben Phillips says the Troops just had some bad luck at the plate, they hit the ball hard but most of the time it was right at Laramie defenders.

The Troops are off today and will play two against Casper tomorrow evening then Gillette Wednesday and a road trip Thursday.

The state tournament is less than two weeks out and Phillips says the players have done a good job of staying sharp and they just want to get to state and see if they can keep that momentum going.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat Seattle Sunday afternoon to end the first half of the regular season and they did it on Trevor Story's walk off solo Home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. Jerry Schimmel has the complete game wrap up.

LITTLE BRONC FOOTBALL CAMP - The Sheridan Bronc football team is hosting their annual Little Bronc football camp this week starting this evening the camp runs between 5 and 6 o'clock and is for all boys and girls ages 5-through 8th grade they will take walk up registration starting at 4:30 the camp will take place on the grass practice field at the high school.
