Weekend Local Sports Wrap up - Broncs / Rams Advance in the Football Playoffs

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne Central
54-7 and advance to the semi finals this week, Head coach Don Julian says for the most part the Broncs played a very good game.

Now it really gets serious with the Broncs hosting Cheyenne East for the right to defend their state title.

The game is scheduled to kickoff Friday night at 6:00 we will have it all live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams crushed Wind River 51-0 to get into the semi finals Head coach Micheal McGuire says the Rams did a nice job of getting out to a fast start.

Now the Rams travel to Cokeville to take on the number one ranked Panthers.

The game will kickoff at 1:00 Friday afternoon and we will have it live for you on Fox Sports 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys built a 42-0 halftime lead and cruised over New Mexico 42-3 Saturday. The Pokes host the Battle for the Bronze Boot Saturday night against Colorado state.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play at Kansas City tonight the game will be broadcast on KWYO and 106.9 FM the broadcast will start at 4:05.

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs volleyball season ended Friday with losses to both Gillette schools at the
4-A East regional tournament.

The Big Horn Lady Rams survived one elimination game and did qualify for the state volleyball tournament they took the consolation match against Lusk and will have a three seed at the state tournament.

The Lady Rams open the state tournament Thursday afternoon against Greybull.

The Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers were eliminated from their regional tournament Saturday by Kaycee.

The All-class state volleyball tournament opens in Casper Thursday.

STATE SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers will open the state championships in Gillette Friday.
