Wyoming 2-A All state basketball honors / Lady Broncs open state hoops Thursday / Cowgirls knocked out of the MWC tournament by SDSU / Cowboys open their tournament Wednesday / Manning retires from the NFL

2-A ALL-STATE BASKETBALL - Wyoming 2-A All-state basketball lists have been announced three players from Big Horn and one from Tongue River were honored by the state's coaches for their play this past season.

For the girls Bailey Bard was named to her second straight all state team for the Big Horn lady Rams. Kylee Knoblach from the Tongue River Lady Eagles also made the girls all state team.

Big Horn teammates Juniors Colton Bates and Nolan McCaffrety made the boys 2-A all state team for the first time.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs will have a two seed going into the 4-A state tournament which opens Thursday at Casper college. They open the against Evanston at 9:00 Thursday we will have it live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

Head coach Jessica Pickett says the Lady Broncs came to play at the regional tournament and had a great weekend in Cheyenne.

And now she says prep is underway for the opener Thursday morning.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls opened the first round of the Mountain West tournament against San Diego state Monday, their season came to an end with a 62-44 loss to the Aztecs the Cowgirls finish their season 13-16 overall.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Pokes open the mens' bracket tomorrow afternoon they play Utah state in the opener, we will have the game live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM, Cowboy pregame starts the broadcast at 11:30 tip off is at Noon.
